Ware Returns To Practice

Well, this is good news for Cowboys fans: Outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware is back at practice today, after missing Wednesday’s workout with some lingering back issues. Ware was forced to leave the Patriots game for a short time with back spasms, and, according to the account on ESPN Dallas today, the team’s medical staff wanted to give the All-Pro an extra day of rest before returning.

Of the four regulars who missed practice Wednesday, though, Ware is the only one who returned today and the only one expected to play against the Rams on Sunday. Felix Jones (ankle), Jason Hatcher (calf) and Derrick Dockery (knee) all remain sidelined. Ware has never missed a game in six years and counting in the league.

Meanwhile, kickoff specialist David Buehler (groin), fullback Tony Fiammetta and inside linebacker Bruce Carter, the latter of which made his practice debut yesterday, are all on the practice field for the second consecutive day.
