Ware: I've Arrived After Winning Title

DeMarcus Ware is one of the more fondly remembered Dallas Cowboys in recent memory — always a great teammate with a great attitude and a desire to affect the DFW community positively.

For the past two years, he's been bringing the same things to the Denver Broncos after he was sent off to pasture as a cap casualty by Jerry Jones and signed with the Broncos. On Sunday night, Ware played in his first Super Bowl and came out a winner as a key part of the Broncos' defense dominating the NFL's best offense.

Ware, who will be 34 years old when next season begins, had five tackles and two sacks in Sunday night's 24-10 win over the Panthers. A surefire Hall of Famer, Ware said the title gave him a sense of arriving and kind of completes him as a player for future generations to look back on.

"I wouldn't say there's a sense of relief,'' Ware told the Dallas Morning News. "I would just say that there's a sense of I have arrived, just being a champion. It was a hard fought battle for so many years for me.

    "It just feels great.''

The Cowboys just better hope when Ware does go into the Hall, he'll go as a Cowboy after the way he was cast aside only to win a title as a key contributor in Denver.
