In an unprecedented move by EA Sports, fans will have the opportunity this year to vote for the cover boy for Madden 12.
In an NCAA-style tournament, potential winners are seeded and pitted against each other. Whoever receives more votes in a given round, obviously, moves on to the next round. The Cowboys’ only representative in the voting is linebacker DeMarcus Ware, who received the third lowest seed in the his division of the bracket at 14.
In the first round, Ware is up against a real-life rival, the Philadelphia Eagles’ Michael Vick. If he moves on, he will face the winner of the Titans’ Chris Johnson and the Texans’ Andre Johnson, seeded 11th and 6th, respectively.
Voting on the first round will be held from the 21st through the 27th of March. Fans can vote here.
