Updated: Ware, Barber Dealing With Minor Injuries

As a whole, this week's injury news has been promising for the Dallas Cowboys.

Tackle Marc Colombo returned to practice this week after missing six weeks with a fractured fibula and torn ankle tendons; ditto for safety/ special teams superstar Pat Watkins, who missed three games with a sprained PCL.

Tashard Choice, who suffered a mild concussion in last week's win over Philadelphia returned to practice on Thursday, and declared that he would play Saturday.

Not all the news, however, comes as encouraging for Cowboys fans.

DeMarcus Ware missed practice on Thursday, the result of a sore back. Marion Barber was limited in practice with a minor knee injury.

Both are expected to play on Saturday though, and their absence from Thursday's practice looks to be nothing more than a precautionary measure at this point. Because of the short turnaround, Thursday's practice consisted mostly of short yardage and red zone work, which is usually left for Friday.

UPDATE: DeMarcus Ware returned for Friday's walk-through and will play Saturday night, according to Clarence Hill at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
