Tony Romo Returns to Action Against Eagles

Tony Romo played for the first time in more than a year Sunday.

And he didn't look rusty at all.

After two drives with Dak Prescott at quarterback, Romo stepped in. Romo completed 3 of 4 passes for 30 yards and a touchdown to give the team a 10-3 lead.

ESPN's Adam Schefter was the first to report that Romo was expected to play Sunday.

Mark Sanchez started the next series and was expected to play the bulk of the game.

Romo hadn't played in a regular season game since being knocked out of a game against the Carolina Panthers on Thanksgiving in 2015.

The Cowboys ultimately lost to the Eagles 27 to 13.
