Titans Interested In Secondary Coach Brett Maxie

Tennessee has requested to interview Maxie, whose contract is set to expire later this year

On the heels of reports saying that the Cowboys are in talks with Jerome Henderson to become the team’s new secondary coach, we learn that another of the team’s secondary coaches could be on his way out.

Safeties coach and assistant secondary coach Brett Maxie is in good standing with the team, but the Tennessee Titans have taken their own interest in on him, and have requested an interview from Dallas, the Dallas Morning News' David Moore writes today. Maxie assisted departed secondary coach Dave Campo for each of the past four seasons, and, if the deal with Henderson goes through, he would do much of the same with the newcomer.

But there seems a good chance that Maxie will depart if Tennessee puts a good enough proposal in front of him. Like Campo, Maxie’s contract is set to expire later in the year.
