Texans to Pick First in 2014 NFL Draft

With the worst overall record in the 2013 season, the Houston Texans will get the first pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.

The NFL announced the tentative order of the first round Monday, without accounting for trades and subject to the results of the playoffs.  Regardless of their regular season record, the Super Bowl winner selects last and the runner-up second to last.  Championship game loses select 29th and 30th, then divisional losers, etc.

Not making the playoffs and finishing at 8-8, the Dallas Cowboys tied the Baltimore Ravens for the 16th pick.  All other tiebreakers were also ties, so which team picks 16th and which will pick 17th will be determined by a coin flip.

As it stands now, here is the draft order.
