Terrell McClain Dealing with a Concussion

McClain will have to pass the NFL's concussion protocol before returning to action

Cowboys defensive tackle Terrell McClain was held out of Wednesday’s practice with a concussion, and will have to pass the league’s concussion protocol before he is eligible to return to action, Tim MacMahon of ESPN Dallas reports.

McClain suffered the concussion in last Sunday’s victory over the Rams in St. Louis, after recording his first two tackles of the season. He missed the season opener against the 49ers, as well as all of the preseason, with a high ankle sprain.

Terrell wasn’t the only McClain sidelined on Wednesday. Rolando McClain continues to be held out with a groin issue, which kept him out of the Rams game and will very likely keep him out of Sunday night’s matchup with the New Orleans Saints at AT&T Stadium.
