Dallas Cowboys receiver Terrance Williams is entering the final year of his rookie contract, but the Baylor product isn’t preoccupying himself with those matters as he prepares for his fourth season in the NFL.
With Dez Bryant hurt in 2015, the Cowboys No. 2 receiver Williams posted career highs in catches with 52 and receiving yards with 840, and a career low in touchdowns with three—as you might remember, the Cowboys struggled to find the end zone with Romo out.
Romo is set to return in 2016, which should help Williams with his goal—letting his play speak for itself in a contract year.
"I try not to worry about that, and I think a lot of people have said a lot this past year and since I've been here," Williams said, per the Dallas Morning News. "Now, I'm just ready to be quiet and just work and let my play speak for it, because you can always talk what you're going to do and then if it doesn't go as planned, it's like a slap to your face. So I'm just ready to work and just show my play."
