Sean Lee's Cast Gets A Nickname

As you might have heard, inside linebacker Sean Lee is practicing this week with a large white cast on his left hand and wrist, in order to protect a dislocated wrist suffered two weeks ago against Philadelphia. It didn’t take long for Lee’s teammates to give the protective cast a nickname--and that nickname is “Q-tip.”

Further, Lee has impressed those teammates with his performance in practice since being fitted for the cast.

“He was going pretty good with his Q-tip of an arm he had on that,” safety Barry Church, per ESPN Dallas. “He was catching some passes out there.”

Lee said he plans on using the cast to his advantage in some way in the game--which traditionally means using the cast as a sort of club. And according to linebacker Anthony Spencer, he’s begun practicing with “Q-tip.”

“That’s what it looks like, a big Q-tip,” Spencer said. “Until he hit me in the face with it. It’s hard.”

We can only imagine.
