Scandrick Ready For T.Y. Hilton Challenge

Hilton comes to North Texas with 82 catches, 1,345 yards and seven touchdowns on the year

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick is looking forward to the test presented by Indianapolis Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton, the third-year speed demon out of Florida International who has 82 catches, 1,345 yards and seven touchdowns on the year coming into Sunday’s matchup in Arlington.

According to Scandrick, Hilton’s size and style of play is reminiscent of the Redskins DeSean Jackson who, particularly in his years with the Eagles, saw plenty of success against the Cowboys.

“He’s a smaller guy,” Scandrick told the team's website. “You know, he reminds me a lot of DeSean Jackson, just the same type of game for me.”

Hilton is coming off a game against the Texans in which he was held to 50 yards on four catches. But the week before that, against the Browns, he went for 10 catches, 150 yards and two touchdowns.

“Just a really good player. They move him around. He’s outside, he’s inside. He can really do everything,” head coach Jason Garrett said. “He runs deep, he runs intermediate routes, they get him the ball short and his run after catch is outstanding, so he’s a very dangerous player. He and the quarterback have a great rapport, so there’s a comfort level that’s quarterback friendly and he makes a lot of plays for them.”
