Scandrick Hopes to Stay in Dallas “My Whole Career”

Cornerback Orlando Scandrick is currently signed through the 2018 season

Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick is signed through the 2018 season, but he hopes to remain in Dallas beyond that, and indeed for the rest of his career.

At least, that’s what he told TMZ recently.

"Hopefully I'll play in Dallas my whole career," Scandrick said. "I love it here. I love the fans. I love the ownership. I love the team.”

A fifth round pick out of Boise State back in 2008, Scandrick has been the most consistent member of the Cowboys’ secondary in recent years. After being suspended for the first two games under the NFL’s drug policy last year, he finished the 2014 season with 55 tackles, a sack, two forced fumbles and two interceptions.
