Hall of Fame running back Barry Sanders paid the Dallas Cowboys young offensive line a pretty high compliment in an appearance on “The Dan Patrick Show” on Thursday.
It started when Patrick asked Sanders if he thinks, at 46-years-young, he could still play a little bit--namely, how many yards does he believe he could gain if he suited up for one more game today?
"Which offensive line do I have?" Sanders responded, via the Detroit Free Press. "That's the question. Are you giving me, like, Dallas'?”
Patrick agreed, yes, the Cowboys offensive line.
“I'll take that, absolutely,” Sanders said. "Maybe I can give you, I don't know, 75 yards. 60, 75 yards.”
Not too shabby for a 46-year-old who last played when Bill Clinton was still in office.
