Roy Williams Injured in Practice

Profootballtalk.com is reporting that X-rays on Cowboys WR Roy Williams' collarbone came back "unexpectedly negative."

Williams collided with cornerback Orlando Scandrick on a pass during Thursday's open practice.

Williams was down for longer than normal. He popped up and tried to stretch. He shouted in anger as he headed to the locker room.

Profootballtalk.com says sources told them a broken collarbone was initially diagnosed, but the X-rays told a different story.

Scandrick was approached by some media members after practice and shoved the microphones away, visibly upset by what happened.

Linebacker Bradie James said after practice, it's a part of the game.

The practice drew 26,460 fans.
