Romo Set as Guest on Kimmel Show

Tony Romo has never been one to shy away from the spotlight, especially when it comes to the offseason — whether he's making appearances on stage with his favorite hair metal bands or trying to qualify for the U.S. Open.

Romo took a lot of heat for that in the past, but after his MVP-caliber 2014 season, the guy deserves some latitude in doing whatever the hell he wants to do in his down time.

So don't be shocked next week if you're flipping through the late-night television shows and fly past Jimmy Kimmel's show only to see the Cowboys quarterback sitting there doing some kind of bit and talking about his life as the Cowboys quarterback.

Romo is set as a guest when Kimmel brings his show to Austin next week for the second consecutive year to get in on the South By Southwest fun.

If you remember, Romo took part in a bit on the Cowboys' official website a while back where players read "mean tweets" about themselves.

That bit, of course, is a Kimmel original, and now Romo can maybe take part in the real deal.
