Romo Gearing Up for the Seahawks Test

The Cowboys go into Seattle on Sunday with a 4-1 record

The Dallas Cowboys have won four consecutive games, but they’ve done so over some pretty underwhelming teams--which leads to folks around the football landscape to wonder, “Could these Cowboys be for real?”

According to Tony Romo, Sunday’s matchup against the Seahawks in Seattle should give us some idea.

“I think we’ve seen plenty of times that one game isn’t going to define your season at this point. However, there are very important games and you know this game is a game that is a great test for us,” Romo told the team’s website. “It’s going to be good to see our team come out with great energy and great enthusiasm and really see how we stack up.”

So how can the Cowboys pass this admittedly daunting test?

“Ultimately, you’ve got to play a very sound, error-free type of football game,” Romo said. “I think, like I said, you’ve got to be aggressive, you’ve got to do some things to counter what they do and give yourself a chance. They’re a very good ball club, there’s a reason they’re the defending champs and we’ve got to play a very good game.”
