Romo Feeling Better, Will Continue To Wear Kevlar Vest

Tony Romo’s sore ribs got some much needed rest last week as the Cowboys treaded lightly through the bye week, but they’re not fully healed just yet. Romo told reporters on Thursday that he would continue to wear the kevlar vest he wore against the Redskins and Lions in the team’s week six matchup with New England.

Romo will also take a painkiller shot, of the sort he’s been using over the past two games, prior to kickoff on Sunday in Foxboro.

I’m feeling better,” Romo said, per ESPN Dallas. “Every week that goes by gets better and better. Hopefully in about a couple of weeks it’ll be back to normal. Until then we have to do some little things to get over it.”
