Report: Jerry Jones, Jay Ratliff Had A Locker Room Spat After Win

Jones was reportedly unhappy with Jay Ratliff's inability to get back from injury this season

All-Pro nose tackle Jay Ratliff has missed seven games here in 2012, and each of the last three. According to a report, Jerry Jones was less-than-happy about this following a highly emotional victory over the Bengals in Cincinnati.

According to Mike Fisher of CBSDFW.com, Jones approached Ratliff in the locker room and said, “We need you.” Ratliff was less-than-happy with THAT, and the two had a brief, heated exchange. Interestingly, Cowboys executive vice president would neither confirm nor deny the report when asked about it on Monday.

“That’s in our locker room right after a game, certainly the press wasn’t in there. We’d like to keep those things internally,” Stephen Jones told 105.3-FM “The Fan,” via the Dallas Morning News. “Certainly there’s always going to be reports of things. Those are just things that I wouldn’t want to comment on. I wasn’t involved and I don’t really want to comment on that right now.”
