Rams Fans in LA Supporting Team at Cowboys Practice

If there was any question of whether or not Los Angeles would accept the Rams back with open arms, Monday morning in Oxnard was a strong indication that the answer is yes.

The line of cars waiting to watch joint practice with the St. Louis Rams and Cowboys stretched for half a mile six hours before the teams would actually take the field.

Most of the fans in line were wearing Rams apparel or had the former Los Angeles team’s logo on their cars.

Saturday evening, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said he had no comment about a potential move by an NFL team to the Los Angeles area, though he did say a team in L.A. did not affect whether or not the Cowboys could hold training camp in Oxnard in the future.

“We have a very good plan in place that allows us to do what we want to do,” Jones said. “We’re looking forward to doing that in Frisco along with other places as well.”

The Cowboys and Rams are scheduled to practice together Monday and Tuesday in Oxnard.
