Parcells Not Offended By Jerry Video

Not surprisingly, Bill Parcells wasn't offended by an amateur video that surfaced this week, in which Cowboys' owner Jerry Jones discusses their relationship in Dallas using some colorful language.

Reports from Thursday, based on a source close to the team, had Jones calling Parcells on Wednesday to clear the air. Jones came away from that conversation, the report said, confident that the two could maintain a good relationship.

Today, Parcells spoke to the Dallas Morning News' Todd Archer, and all but dismissed the grainy, 48-second clip.

"I have a very high personal regard for Jerry Jones," Parcells said. "I enjoyed my time in Dallas with him and the Cowboys very much. I have seen numerous gestures of benevolence and kindness by him to many people and have been a recipient of some myself. I have always operated under the axiom that a friend is someone who knows all about you and likes you anyway.

"That's how I feel about Jerry - and being a little less than perfect myself I am pretty darn sure that's how he feels about me."
