On Deck will be here all season to provide you with everything you need to know (and a few things you don't) about every Cowboys game during the 2015 season.
The Opponent: The Patriots are undefeated and coming off a bye week, which is a scary combination for the reeling Cowboys. And not to mention the fact that they appear hell-bent on the Tom Brady revenge tour this year. This game could get ugly in a hurry.
Past Meetings: The Cowboys are 7-4 all-time against the Patriots.
Who's Hot: Brandon Weeden was actually decent on Sunday night and wasn't the problem in the Cowboys' loss, as he threw for 246 yards and a touchdown in the waning seconds to tie the game before the Saints won the game on the second play of overtime. Cole Beasley had six catches for 62 yards, and Anthony Hitchens had a pretty nice day in relief of the concussed Sean Lee.
The Patriots last played two weeks ago and took down Jacksonville with a 51-17 defeat behind Tom Brady's 358 passing yards and two scores. Rob Gronkowski, perhaps the biggest mismatch in the league, had four catches for 101 yards and LeGarrette Blount had three touchdowns on the ground to go with 78 rushing yards.
Who's Not: Joseph Randle had a rough day at the office on Sunday night, running for 26 yards on 11 carries (2.4 yards per carry) and a touchdown, while Darren McFadden had 31 yards on 10 carries.
Not really much to speak of in regards to the Patriots, as the defending champs are rolling at the moment and not just beating teams, but embarrassing them. The Cowboys might be next.
