Newman May Have Sustained A Concussion

After missing most of training camp, the entire preseason and the first two regular season games with a groin injury, cornerback Terence Newman returned for the Cowboys week three matchup against the Washington Redskins, and he played well. But he also may have sustained a concussion.

Owner and general manager Jerry Jones said this week that the Cowboys’ medical staff would keep an eye on Newman this week in order to determine if he did, in fact, suffer a concussion against Washington.

In other injury news, defensive end Jason Hatcher is questionable for the Cowboys’ week four game against the undefeated Detroit Lions with a strained calf. Hatcher suffered the injury in the first half of the Cowboys’ victory over the Redskins.
