NFL Admits Several Bad Calls Against Cowboys

Everyone has their own opinion on whether Anthony Hitchens committed pass interference or not in Sunday's Wild Card win over the Lions, which led to several conspiracy theories saying the Cowboys got all the calls and whatnot.

Of course, all of that is ridiculous, and now it's being proven so.

The Star-Telegram reported on Wednesday that NFL contacted the Cowboys this week to tell them they were the team negatively affected by at least seven bad calls in Sunday's game, most notably a late defensive holding that wasn't called on Cowboys tight end Jason Witten on the play before the Cowboys fourth-and-6 conversion. That fourth-down play, of course, featured a missed holding call on Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.

This is a common practice, as teams send 10 calls to the league after every game, and the conversation between the teams and the NFL are typically kept private but given the public spotlight on the Hitchens call, which even featured a statement by Barack Obama, this game was different.
