NFC East Watch: Eagles Sign Malcolm Jenkins to New, 5-Year Deal

Jenkins made his first career Pro Bowl last season

The Philadelphia Eagles have signed cornerback Malcolm Jenkins to a new, five-year deal, the team announced Monday.

Jenkins has started all 16 games for the Eagles in each of the two seasons he’s been there, and earned his first career Pro Bowl nod in 2015, when he posted 87 tackles and a pair of interceptions.

Before the Eagles, Jenkins played five seasons with the New Orleans Saints, the team that made him the 14th overall pick out of Ohio State in 2009.

Jenkins has five interceptions total since coming to the Eagles, but none of those have come against the Cowboys.
