Morris Claiborne “Would Love To Be A Two-Way Player”

The last Cowboys' cornerback to regularly play offense was Deion Sanders over a decade ago

When Deion Sanders joined the Cowboys back in 1994, he did so under the impression that he would be able to play both ways in Dallas, and sure enough, when he arrived, Deion would occasionally line up as a receiver. So is there a chance that 2012 first round pick Morris Claiborne could do the same?

Well, to suggest as much would be an obvious case of putting the cart before the horse since he hasn’t even played a snap at his given position in the NFL, let alone at receiver--but in a recent interview with ESPN Radio 103.3 FM’s “Galloway and Company,” Claiborne said he was open to the idea.

I would love to be a two-way player,” Claiborne said, via ESPN Dallas. “If they gave me that chance to be able to go both sides of the ball I'll love it and I won't turn it down. I get in and give it 100 percent.”
