Morris Claiborne Back At Practice

Claiborne is dealing with lingering concussion symptoms but says he'll play against the Saints

Rookie cornerback Morris Claiborne returned to practice on Wednesday after missing all of last week with lingering concussion symptoms, and says he’ll play against Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

"I don't have no doubt in my mind," he said, per ESPN Dallas. "I expect to be on the field. I believe (the headaches) it's past me. I'm just going out there practicing and don't hold nothing back and whatever happens, happens."

Claiborne missed last weekend’s win over the Steelers after sustaining the concussion and a cut on the lip that forced the rookie from the field and required stitches.

In other injury news, linebacker Ernie Simms was held out with a concussion of his own, but reportedly passed a concussion test. He’ll have to pass a second one later today in order to play against New Orleans.

DeMarco Murray was held out Wednesday as well, but as in last week, this is most likely just a precautionary measure by the team.
