Mincey on Rodgers: “He's as Good as They Come”

Aaron Rodgers has been dealing with a calf injury but should be ready to go on Sunday

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is dealing with a calf injury, suffered in the team’s Week 16 victory over the Detroit Lions.

Rodgers also may be the best quarterback in the NFL--a former Super Bowl MVP as well as a former league MVP--and that’s where the Dallas Cowboys’ focus is going into this weekend’s divisional round matchup in Green Bay. Which is to say, they're not banking on the calf injury slowing Rodgers down at all.

"He's tough, man,” said Cowboys defensive end Jeremy Mincey, per ESPN Dallas. "He's as good as they come. I know he's going to come out there and play his best game. We just got to be ready and we got to be on top of our details early, focused and ready.”

Rodgers missed practice all last week and was reportedly held out again on Wednesday, but the team plans on their signal caller being just fine come Sunday afternoon.
