Mincey Undergoes Elbow Surgery

Jeremy Mincey had his elbow arthroscopically repaired heading into the 2015 season, but it didn't really fix an issue that'd been lingering for a while.

The results spoke for themselves for the veteran defensive end as he registered zero sacks after putting up six in 2014 for the Cowboys.

Mincey recently had the elbow surgically repaired again and posted a message to his Instagram saying he's hoping for a full recovery this time around as he enters the offseason as a free agent. It's unknown whether the Cowboys will make an attempt to bring him back. I think he should be re-signed as long as it's at a club-friendly price, which it should be given his lack of production this past season.

"Whoever gives me the opportunity will have a very hungry player and will have a very smart player," Mincey told the Dallas Morning News heading into the final week of the season. "They are going to have a very well-rounded player. I have plenty of years left. I am full of energy. I plan on getting my elbow scoped where I can use it and get it straightened out where I can function."
