Lamar Miller has long been thought of as a prime target at running back for the Dallas Cowboys.
Depending on who you listen to, the chances of him actually landing here range from low to the Cowboys being the frontrunner for the 24-year-old free agent.
Count me as someone who's crossing his fingers Miller lands in Dallas, and it really has nothing to do with the Cowboys' success. No, instead, it has everything to do with the success of my fantasy football team in my hardcore keeper league.
I've had Miller for the past two seasons, expected big things and watched as the Dolphins never figured out to use him properly. Imagine the fresh legs of the young Miller running behind the best offensive line in the league with a healthy Tony Romo and Dez Bryant keeping defenses honest. Goodness.
So, if you're reading this, Jerry, please consider my inappropriately named fantasy team when trying to find a new running back. Choose Lamar.
