Miles Austin Returns to Practice (Again)

Austin hasn't recorded a catch since the Week 3 win over the Rams

Cowboys receiver Miles Austin returned to practice on Wednesday, the team’s last session before they break for the rest of the bye week.

It’s hard to tell if this means anything big. Austin has missed the team’s past three games with a hamstring injury and he doesn’t have a catch since the Week 3 win over the Rams. He suffered the injury in that game, and missed the two games after that. He returned to the lineup for Weeks 6 and 7 (against the Redskins and Eagles, respectively) but wasn’t so much as targeted.

Austin has practiced once last week, but of course, he was held out of the loss to the Saints.

Rookie linebacker DeVonte Holloman, who has been out with a back injury since Week 6, returned on Wednesday as well.

Missing the session were cornerbacks Orlando Scandrick and Morris Claiborne, defensive end DeMarcus Ware, linebackers Justin Durant and Sean Lee, and safety J.J. Wilcox.
