Long Snapper LP LaDouceur Added to Pro Bowl

The Cowboys now have seven players set to participate in next week's Pro Bowl

The Dallas Cowboys now have seven players in next week’s Pro Bowl.

Long snapper L.P. LaDouceur was added to the roster on Friday, joining QB Tony Romo, RB DeMarco Murray, WR Dez Bryant, C Travis Frederick, RG Zack Martin and LT Tyron Smith. LaDouceur’s was labeled a “need” addition by Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh.

LaDouceur has been with the Cowboys since 2005, and he’s held the job since the fourth game of that season, becoming one of the most consistent in the league at his position. He signed a five-year deal with the team in February of last year.

The Cowboys representation at the Pro Bowl could still grow. Aside from the seven players in the Pro Bowl and the coaching staff, which will coach one side next week against Harbaugh’s Ravens staff, the team has a few alternates that could be called on due to injury, or to replace players participating in the Super Bowl.

The 2015 Pro Bowl will be played next Sunday at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, the site of the Super Bowl. We’ll forgive you if you choose not to watch.
