Lee Says He Feels Fine, Won't Know Status Until Later in the Week

Sean Lee suffered a concussion on Sunday for the second time in five weeks

Earlier in the week, Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones acknowledged that weak side linebacker Sean Lee was probably doubtful for this week’s matchup with the Buccaneers in Tampa, after suffering a concussion in Sunday’s loss to the Eagles--his second concussion in five weeks.

Lee spoke about his status for the first time on Tuesday, and said he feels fine, but that he doesn’t yet know if he’ll be available this week.

I'm doing well,” Lee said, per David Moore of the Dallas Morning News. "I feel good. Thursday or Friday, I'll know a lot more, to be honest.”

Through eight games this season, Lee has 66 tackles, a sack and an interception.

But two concussions in five weeks is alarming, no?

“It's football,” Lee said. “It's early. I'll know more as the week goes on.”
