Lawrence Vickers Has Back Surgery

The Dallas fullback isn't expected to miss any time

Owner and general manager said this week that Cowboys fullback Lawrence Vickers isn’t expected to miss any time after undgergoing back surgery on Friday, though he will be somewhat limited through the team’s offseason conditioning program and OTAs, which begin next month.

He is going to be fine,” Jones said, per the Dallas Morning News. “It is not a concern.”

Vickers will earn $1.2 million next season, a good-sized number but one that Jones believes is deserved by the soon-to-be 30-year-old veteran.

“That is what you look at. We like him,” Jones said. “He has done an outstanding job. As we sit here today, I would say, ‘Yes.’”
