Lawrence “100 Percent” After Dealing with Back Issue This Week

DeMarcus Lawrence missed practice on Wednesday with a back issue

Dallas Cowboys second-year defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence missed practice on Wednesday with a minor back injury, but was back at it on Thursday and says it’s a non-issue moving forward.

"I'm 100 percent healthy, so just glad to be back out there today,” Lawrence told the Dallas Morning News.

Lawrence, who recorded his first career regular season sack in Week 5 against the Saints, knows the team has their work cut out for them Sunday at AT&T Stadium when they’ll be charged with keeping Seahawks quarterback/Rangers minor league second baseman Russell Wilson contained.

"That's a big emphasis on our game," Lawrence said. "We know he has good speed, good vision and he's short so when he gets out of the pocket that's when he's most accurate. That's our main focus at the end of the day is keeping him in the pocket, so we can't let him out. We know he's a great scrambler. He makes things happen for their offense."
