Laurent Robinson Excited To Face Former Team

Cowboys’ receiver Laurent Robinson doesn’t harbor any ill feelings toward his former team, the St. Louis Rams, but he won’t deny that he’s looking forward to the match-up between his new team and his old team this Sunday in Arlington.

I’ve been thinking about it for a little bit,” Robinson said, per ESPN Dallas. “I’ll get to see some old friends and show them what I can do.”

The Cowboys found some much needed receiver help in Robinson, who seemingly developed an on field rapport with Tony Romo overnight. In three games with Dallas, Robinson has 12 catches and 208 yards.

“He’s a relatively big receiver,” said head coach Jason Garrett on Wednesday. “He runs good routes, he has good quickness and speed and he catches the football. He was somebody who was a quick study for us, who came in and was able to understand what we we’re trying to do on offense in a short period of time. He’s been productive for us when he’s gotten his opportunities.”
