LaQuon Treadwell Has Pre-Draft Visit Scheduled with Cowboys

Treadwell is widely expected to be the first receiver taken in 2016

The Dallas Cowboys are one of eight teams who have already scheduled a pre-draft visit with Ole Miss receiver LaQuon Treadwell, according to Treadwell himself in a recent “Path to the Draft” post on NFL.com.

We’d be surprised if Dallas is even considering receivers in the first round, and we’d be surprised if Treadwell didn’t go in the first round, so this doesn’t seem a likely pairing. But Treadwell is taking each of his pre-draft meetings quite seriously.

"I take it very seriously. I take everything at this point like this is my job and treat everything I do like it's my job," Treadwell said. "I treat everybody with respect because you never know what everybody else can do for you or what doors might open up for you. I'm excited about it all and it's nothing anybody in my family has experienced so it will be fun.”

Aside from the Cowboys, Treadwell has meetings scheduled with the San Diego Chargers, Miami Dolphins, Cleveland Browns, Carolina Panthers, Minnesota Vikings, San Francisco 49ers and Cincinnati Bengals, all after Mississippi’s Pro Day on March 28.
