Josh Brent Dealing with a Calf Issue

Brent tweaked the calf in Wednesday's practice session

Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Josh Brent was held out of Thursday’s practice session after suffering a minor calf injury on Wednesday.

Just last Thursday, Brent played in an NFL  game for the first time in two years, and finished with a pair of tackles in the 41-28 victory over the Bears. His status for Sunday’s matchup with the Eagles is unclear at this point.

He’s responded well,” head coach Jason Garrett said of Brent this week, per the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Also missing practice was linebacker Dekoda Watson. Watson hasn’t played in a game since being picked up by the Cowboys back in November.
