Jerry: Lee Returning Vs. Eagles “Certainly Possible”

Sean Lee has missed the past two games with a neck injury

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Sunday that there’s a decent chance that linebacker Sean Lee could return for the Week 17, winner-take-all NFC East match-up with the Eagles at AT&T Stadium.

"I visited with him before the game," Jones said, per ESPN Dallas. "I just visited with him again here, and it’s certainly possible. It’s a technical thing. It's something that he very easily could get cleared, and he’s ready to play if he’s cleared."

Lee suffered a strained neck in the Week 14 loss to the Bears and has been out of the lineup ever since. He was ruled out of the Redskins game on Friday and expressed some doubt as to whether he’d be back in 2013.

Team doctors have told Lee that he won’t be cleared until his neck is fully stable, meaning he’ll have to pass a battery of tests before putting the pads back on.
