The NFL suspended Cowboys starting middle linebacker Rolando McClain for the first ten games of the season without pay for violating the league's substance abuse policy.
It's familiar territory for McClain, he was also suspended four games last season for the same violation.
McClain will be eligible to return to the cowboys' active roster November 21. The 26 year old will be able to participate in all preseason practices and games.
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was asked about the future of McClain.
