Jeremy Mincey Misses Practice

Mincey is apparently dealing with a head injury

Dallas Cowboys defensive end Jeremy Mincey was held out of practice on Tuesday with a head injury, apparently suffered in the 24-20 victory over the Detroit Lions.

We say “apparently,” because Mincey was able to finish the game on Sunday and didn’t mention the injury to the press at all afterward. To this point, it’s unclear how serious the injury is, or even specifically what it entails.

Also missing practice was rookie linebacker Anthony Hitchens--who missed practice all last week with an ankle injury but was able to play against the Lions--and Rolando McClain, who in addition to dealing with concussion symptoms stemming from the win over the Lions, has a neck injury.

“Rolando had concussion-like symptoms but maybe more than anything else he’s feeling it in his neck today,” Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett said earlier in the week.
