Jason Hatcher Visits Seahawks: Report

Hatcher will most likely depart Dallas as an unrestricted free agent

A day into the NFL’s free agency period, free agent defensive tackle Jason Hatcher’s dance card is full.

According to a report by Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News, Hatcher visited with the reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday, and already has four other visits scheduled. The Cowboys are interested in bringing Hatcher back, of course, but they most likely won’t be able to afford him.

Hatcher is coming off a timely career year, in which he posted 41 tackles, two forced fumbles and a career-high 11 sacks. For his trouble, he was named to the Pro Bowl for the first time.

A third round pick out of Grambling State in 2006, Hatcher recorded 205 tackles, 27 sacks and four forced fumbles in eight seasons in Dallas.
