Injury Update: Jones, Newman Miss Practice

ESPN Dallas’ Tim MacMahon has reported that Cowboys running back Felix Jones missed practice on Wednesday with a bruised left forearm suffered in Sunday’s loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jones spent Wednesday’s practice in sweats, but it seems unlikely that he would miss Sunday night’s match-up with Green Bay.

Also missing from practice Wednesday:

*Cornerback Terence Newman, who left the Jacksonville game with a strained rib muscle suffered the week before against New York.

*Montrae Holland, who suffered a strained groin in week seven.

*Tony Romo (broken clavicle).

*Jason Hatcher (groin).

*Akwasi Owusu-Ansah (ankle).

Tackle Marc Colombo and linebacker Bradie James were absent from practice for unknown reasons.

Guard Kyle Kosier returned to practice Wednesday, after missing the Jacksonville game with an Achilles injury.
