Here's Your Chance To Be T.O.'s Teammate

The Allen Wranglers will hold player tryouts this weekend

If you ever wondered what it was like to share a sideline (and a locker room) with the always unpredictable Terrell Owens, you now have a chance to find out firsthand--that is, if you’re good at football and have $50 to $65 to spare.

The Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League, Owens' newest team, have announced the final round of player tryouts, to be held at Lovejoy High School in Allen on Saturday, February 4, from noon to 4 PM. Participants are required to pay a $50 fee if registered by February 3, or $65 the day of.

Hopefuls are asked in the press release to wear workout gear and cleats, and should be prepared to run team, group and individual drills, as well as the 40 yard dash, the short shuttle, and the broad jump. Kickers will have their own set of drills.

“We are always trying to get better with local players, head coach Pat Pimmel says in the release. “This is going to be a season to remember, and I’m extremely excited about it all.”

Further registration information can be found at the Wranglers’ official website, here.
