Hatcher Wants to Stay a Cowboy

Jason Hatcher's contract is due to expire after 2013

The Dallas Cowboys have yet to begin contract talks with defensive lineman Jason Hatcher, whose contract is set to expire after the 2013 season, but Hatcher wants to remain with Dallas.

"I'm sure I want to be back," Hatcher said, per ESPN Dallas. "You can't make guys want you. You got to go out and perform. Sometimes it's a numbers thing, sometimes it's a money thing. Hopefully I will be back."

Hatcher finished with 51 tackles and four sacks a year ago, and has 16 sacks for his career in Dallas.

"I love the state I’m in," Hatcher said. "I love the organization. I love my teammates. I'm going to go out here and play my butt off; that's what they pay me to do. I'm not going to worry about a contract at all."
