Greg Hardy Doesn't Care if You Like Him

Hardy speaks out on Instagram, Twitter

Exclusive: Why the Cowboys Signed Greg Hardy

NBC 5's Meredith Land talks exclusively with Charlotte Jones Anderson, Executive Vice President & Chief Brand Officer of the Dallas Cowboys about the signing of Greg Hardy. (Published Monday, March 23, 2015)

The Dallas Cowboys sent shockwaves through the NFL world and throughout DFW last week when they signed controversial free agent Greg Hardy, a transcendent pass-rushing talent who happens to have a domestic abuse rap sheet.

On Monday, Hardy spoke out for the first time since the signing, which Dallas mayor Mike Rawlings called a "shot to the gut" for the city. Hardy took to his Instagram account and sent a message to Cowboys fans, whether they're fans of him or not.

The post included a picture of Hardy in the Cowboys locker room wearing a Cowboys cap, but has since been removed from the site. A tweet, referencing the post, can be seen below.

So there you go. Hardy's nickname is "Kraken," in case you were wondering what the hell he was talking about. To sum it up, he doesn't care what you think of him, and he doesn't care about any thing or place except for America and the Dallas Cowboys.

    That includes you, Mayor Mike.
