Getting to the Stadium Just Got Cheaper, in Fort Worth

The Fort Worth Transportation Authority is offering football fans a more economical way to get to Dallas Cowboys games.

The transportation authority will offer $5 round-trip bus service from downtown Fort Worth to the new nearly $1.2 billion Cowboys Stadium in Arlington for home games. People who want to park at the T&P Station lot can pony up another $5-per-vehicle fee.

The Cowboy Coach service begins Sept. 20 as Dallas opens the home season against the New York Giants.

Individual vehicle parking can cost up to $75 at Cowboys Stadium. Parking in lots next door at Rangers Stadium will range from $20 to $60.

Dallas Area Rapid Transit will not offer service to Cowboys games. Spokesman Morgan Lyons on Wednesday told The Associated Press that Arlington is not a member city with DART.
