Fantasy Land: Week 9 Remembered

It looks like the Houston Texans might have finally figured things out.

After bringing in Wade Phillips as the team's defensive coordinator and seeing Ben Tate come back after missing all of last season, the Texans are rolling in the AFC South despite not having the services of one of the best wide receivers in football, Andre Johnson, for weeks.

Fantasy owners should love this new version of the Texans too.

At running back, Arian Foster is clearly the man, as he's the No. 1 running back in fantasy football this year, but with Tate behind him, the Texans have a potent 1-2 punch that isn't the normally dreaded split backfield.

Both Foster and Tate rushed for at least 115 yards and a touchdown on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns, and that Texans defense has turned into a quality unit as well, racking up four sacks on Colt McCoy to go with an interception and a fumble recovery.

As for the goats from the weekend, look no further than Michael Vick.

Vick was going up against a suspect Chicago Bears defense on Monday night and totally underwhelmed.

Vick passed for just 213 yards with no touchdowns and an interception while rushing for 34 yards. Not quite what fantasy owners expect from Vick.
