Fantasy Land: Week 14 Remembered

Many people's fantasy dreams were crushed in about the worst, gimmicky way possible over the weekend when a team defense led most league formats in scoring as the Seattle Seahawks not only shut out the Arizona Cardinals in a big way, but they actually did a decent amount of the scoring.

The Seahawks scored two touchdowns on defense and forced eight turnovers — four fumbles and four interceptions — while picking up three sacks. And if you were unfortunate enough to be matched up against the Seahawks in your playoff game, you're most likely wiping the tears off your keyboard right now.

Some other big stat lines came from, surprise, another Seahawk as Marshawn Lynch racked up 128 yards on the ground while scoring three times on only 11 carries. Cam Newton keeps topping himself on a weekly basis recently as he put up 116 yards on the ground with a score and threw for 287 yards and two scores in the Panthers' win over Atlanta.

As for goats of the week, there's Ahmad Bradshaw. He had a great matchup against the worst run defense in the league and had seemingly gained a monopoly on carries as goal-line back Andre Brown was lost for the season. Instead, he got banged up and came back only to see rookie running back David Wilson have a breakout game against the Saints' hapless defense.
