Fantasy Land: Week 13 Remembered

Unless your league is stupid and plays through the crapshoot that is Week 17 on the NFL schedule, this past weekend was most likely the final weekend of the regular season, meaning many of you were playing for a playoff spot. So how'd things go? If you had Percy Harvin on your squad, and in your starting lineup, it likely went pretty well.

Harvin hasn't done much to wow fantasy owners this season, but on Sunday he went off against the Denver Broncos in yet another narrow come-from-behind Tim Tebow win.

Harvin and rookie quarterback Christan Ponder did their best Randy Moss-Dante Culpepper impression as Harvin caught eight balls for 156 yards and two long touchdown receptions.

On the other hand, if you were playing for a playoff spot and started DeMarco Murray and LeGarrette Blount you're most likely still in tears and shaking your head.

The two young running backs had what appeared to be great matchups against the Cardinals and Panthers, respectively, and both fell flat on their face for various reasons.

Murray was a victim of a terrible gameplan, and Blount fell victim to his team falling behind early and totally abandoning the running game as they two combined for 57 yards and no touchdowns. That won't win many fantasy games.
