Fantasy Land: Studs and Duds, Week 3

A two-time champion in a hardcore keeper league, including some know-it-all media "experts," Adam Boedeker gives his fantasy expertise on a weekly basis.

Stud of the Week

DeMarco Murray, RB, DAL — Murray has been one of the league's best runners over the first two weeks of the season, and in a twist of good fate, he gets to try to continue that against the team he's enjoyed the most success of his career against. Granted, this St. Louis defense is better than those past ones he's faced, but in his two previous games against the Rams, he's rushed for 428 yards and two touchdowns. His young offensive line is moving Earth for him, and he's due for another big game.

Honorable mention: Philip Rivers, SD (at BUF); Joique Bell, DET (vs. GB); Lamar Miller, MIA (vs. KC); Keenan Allen, SD (at BUF).

Dud of the Week

Tony Romo, QB, DAL — See above in reference to Murray. As we know, just because the Cowboys had great success running the ball and limiting Romo's role last week doesn't mean they'll do it again this week. But the Rams' defense is solid, Romo still doesn't seem healthy and he actually missed practice on Wednesday. It seems as though Murray will be the star again.

Honorable mention: Chris Johnson, NYJ (vs. CHI); Montee Ball, DEN (at SEA); Larry Fitzgerald, ARI (vs. SF); Michael Crabtree, SF (at ARI).
